oponki

Oponki is the name I’ve given the type of bike I build most. I’d describe this as an AllRoad bike. It's not a really a model. Oponkis are all different but share a common thread. Think of the Oponki as a state of mind.

Simply, the Oponki is a comfortable bike designed to be ridden over longer distances with the minimum of maintenance. Almost all Oponkis will use an internal gear hub, most utilise a belt rather than a chain. Most will have a touring-type flat bar like a ‘Loop’ bar, but some will have drop bars. Disk brakes, handbuilt wheels and a steel frame. Carbon or steel fork and loads of braze-ons for accessories/bags/lights/mudguards. The Oponki can be tig-welded or fillet brazed. Fillet brazed looks nicer but is more expensive (an extra £350). All Oponkis are built to order and are custom fit. If you think the Oponki might be right for you, get in touch.
