Willow is just me. Steven Shand. I've been building bicycle frames and fabricating bicycles since 2002. I build in steel and titanium and use various construction methods; tig welding, fillet brazing and lugged.
I started Shand Cycles in 2004 and built that business to be at the forefront of the 'Adventure Bicycle' scene. Times move on and I sold Shand Cycles in 2017. Since then, I've been in various roles in the outdoor and bicycle industry, working in product design, marketing and brand management.
Six years after leaving Shand Cycles I decided to start building bicycles commercially again and launched Willow Bike.

All of the bicycles and frames I build are built to order. They are all custom fit with bespoke geometry. They can be brazed, tig welded or built with lugs. I’ll talk you through every stage, from ensuring we get something that fits you and is comfortable, has the features and elements that you want and the components are chosen to work for your specific needs. Most of what I do falls into one of three categories ; AllRoad, MTB or Road. There are some examples with guide pricing below.
